I suppose that you refer to the penitential pledge. Bear in mind that, on having signed a pledge contract, not only it is beneficial for the lessor, but for you, since to avoid that you could be so then finally the lessor decides to sell the apartment to another person that it is you who are not. Of course, this contract leaves well bundle and take it to some expert, so that you have clear good that you will recover the money in case of finally, not to execute the call option.
