The unemployment in Spain and the bad economic management

Almost three million and a half persons in unemployment already, in Spain. A growth of the unemployment of 154.008 persons in February. Historical information that point at a continued crisis that every time it is affecting to more and more sectors of the economy, while from the Government they strain in trying to receive communion with mill wheels, adducing that "at least" is less bad than in January.

They scare to see the information, as to see is afraid that we are the worst in Europe, and that in addition to the world economic crisis we are immersed in a local economic crisis in Spain product, probably of a bad management that could not foresee with time that the information was not pointing well. The measurements are taking, yes, although it is late. And at least we have left the consolation of which "better late than never".

But returning to the information, those of this February point that now the sector services is the principal unemployment generator. Spain has lived through last years of the excessive boom of the construction, and it was logical that it was the first one in falling down. We have houses to give and to take; houses that do not sell and that hurry up the buyers because they neither have to pay nor have who they are bought; the cosntructoras and real estate agencies do not have money either and to construct in these moment is something that one will not come to any mind. With these perspectives, it is impossible that one thinks about a revival of the short-term construction sector. The only thing that seems to stay like arms the VPO construction is, but without excesses not to harm to the sector.

Secondly, the sector services. It was logical also that as the suspicion grows, that there is less money in the pocket of the people of on foot, and that we meet frozados to limit our expenses, the demand of this sector was diminishing also. While the consumption is not reactivated, difficult it is that the sector service upturn, and for that it will be necessary to hope that the consumers should feel more free financially and that the money flows. Only this way the confidence will recover and hence, the consumption.

The plan of revival of the Government will relieve the matter, but it will be necessary to see if in the long term his measurements do not spend invoice to us. At the moment, from diverse places, already it signs up to that the unemployment will reach 4,5 million unemployed men.
